Everybody’s searching for simple approaches to accelerate their smartphone, particularly techniques that don’t include phone rooting or, well, purchasing another phone. Here’s three speedy tips that can give you excellent phone performance.
Use Third Party Launcher
Most Android smartphones from Samsung, HTC, Redmi etc come with maker’s custom skin like TouchWiz, which provides additional options over that which you would get from the original form of Android.
While these skins regularly include helpful options, they can also be very huge in size and consumes more processing power of the phone.
Changing to another launcher from Google Play Store such as Nova Launcher, or Apex, can improve phone responsiveness and speed.
Tweak Multi Tasking options
Android Developer settings provide various settings to speedup the phone performance. To access them first you must enable the Developer options by tapping 7 times on Build Number from the Settings>About menu.
Now go to Settings > Developer options, here we have to limit the background processes to achieve performance. By default this setting configured as “Standard Limit” by the phone manufacturer, you can lower the value to get priority to foreground processes.
Change Animation Settings
Likewise in the Developer options you can change the animation settings for your smartphone. This has no genuine advantage to the performance of your phone but you can feel it faster.
Here, the “Window animation scale”, “Transition Animation scale” and Animator duration scale are the settings which reflects animation speed while you switching between various Android screens. Higher value makes the phone smooother, lower value makes it snappier.
So, set the Window Animation scale to 5x then tap the Transition animation option to see its results. I suggest .5x for all.
