Datawind, the company behind cheap Akash tablets, is coming with low-priced 4G smartphones with Free Internet facility.
The budget smartphones will be priced in between Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 5,000 and equipped with 1GB, 2 GB and 3 GB RAM’s respectively. The phones also come with 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB variants.
All of these models accompanied with one year complete FREE Internet access. Already Datawind released a 3G phone last year with free Internet benefits.
Datawind has the plan to release the latest series of 4G smartphones by Diwali, this year. The company has substantial market share in the tablet segment in the country and now it is started focusing on mobile market by always introducing smartphones targeted at low-income groups.
