Emails have become a necessary and the main source of communication for professional purposes. And even on the internet, every website requires a sign up by the users to get access to the content on the website which in return becomes an annoying task for the users with a lot of emails landing in his/her email id, it will become difficult for him/her to filter the important emails. Gmail, the most popular mailing service has something in secret for its users that they can actually easily create a disposable email for the purpose of signing up with various websites they need to or forced to just to gain access to the website’s content.
Creating A Disposable Email ID
This is a very simple process that I am going to show you in this article today
- While you are signing up with a website you just need to replace with original mail id with something like this
If your mail id is example@gmail.com, you just use example+something@gmail.com while signing up for the website, which becomes your disposable email id.
Actually, Gmail considers everything after the + as nothing, so you can place anything after that and use it for signing up the websites that force you to do.
After this, there is something that you need to do which is setting up a filter in your Gmail account.
- Log in into your account, click on the drop-down button in the Gmail search bar which can be found on the top of the screen.
- There you will find some sections and boxes to be filled, type the disposable email id that you used for signing up the website and then click on create a filter using this search.
Now you will find some options to choose like in the picture below, choose accordingly
After you choose the desired option about what to do that unwanted mail from the website that you signed up, just click on create a filter.
Thus in this simple way, you can very easily get rid of the unwanted mails that will be annoying you all the time.
