Google has started to roll out its new user interface for its users. Through this new interface and updated design Google has been offering its users a brand-new material facelift, dedicated task pane, integration with applications like Keep. These changes have been rolled out by Google in different phases. So, if you are one among the users who is looking forward towards using these features, then here is how you can get the new Gmail user interface enabled. Follow the below steps.
First of all, to begin with the process, you need to sign in to your Gmail account.
Then click on the gear icon on the top right corner of the mailbox window.
Then you will find an option Try new Gmail, just click on it and you will be able to witness the new user interface.
If you would ever again want to go back to the old and regular Gmail UI, then click on the gear icon and then tap on the ‘go back to classic gmail’ option.
Enabling New UI in GSuite
If you are using a GSuite account and would like to enable the new user interface in there. You will first be needing permission of the administrator and if you are an administrator, then you can follow these steps.
Just head over to the admin console, then under the settings ‘new gmail early adopter program’. Change the selection to ‘allow my users access to the new Gmail UI and features.
Once you are done, then the users in your GSuite can simply enable the new Gmail user interface by going and enabling it in the settings.
Try this new Gmail UI and experience the new interface and look.
