You might have been on Facebook from years and posted thousands of updates on your timeline by now. If you want to check those past updates on your Facebook, this tutorial will help you find those old timeline statuses easily.
Are you going to scratch down the timeline all the day or week for you that oldest status update? I would say it is not fairly a good option to go with. If you are a Facebook maniac person like me, you would probably have shared a 100 updates per day. That sums up to around 3000 a month and 36,000 per year. If you have been on Facebook from the past 8 years (let’s suppose), you would have to go through 2,88,000 updates to check that oldest memory on it.
Wait! Technology has always has a choice. At least Facebook has a choice to scroll skim through the update log according to the timeline.
Finding old timeline statuses on Facebook
To check your those older statuses, go to your profile and you would find two buttons ‘Update info’ and ‘View Activity Log’ on your bottom right of the cover page.
Click on ‘View Activity Log‘. It will take you to the log of your activities organized by the year. You may click on the year to go to specific update of the year or just scroll down to find the recent past ones from the current year updates.
Or you may use the search bar on the top to make it easier the searching. To search an update, you should have remembered the words you had used in it. Using the search bar is the easiest way to find an old update rather than skimming through the yearly filtered log.
I hope this helped you travel back in time quickly and get those momentary updates. Please share it to your friends too if you liked it.
