It seems that Google is working on a new operating system with the name Fuchsia . The incomplete code of the operating system is placed on Google code repository along with the GitHub.
The operating system has many stunning features, but till now Google didn’t open up on the latest operating system. As per our knowledge, Google considering it as the fresh start from the scratch, because Google developed Android based on Linux kernel.
Why Fuchsia
The OS may bridge the gap between Android and Chrome OS and evolve as the single operating system for both the Chromebooks and smartphones. There are plenty of rumors circulating about the new OS, and it seems to release in next year i.e. 2017.
Some people predicting that the new OS is intended to use with Google’s hardware products such as OnHub router or internet of things gadgets developed by other companies.
By examing the Fuchsia operating system’s code, we have a clue that it uses Magenta microkernel which commonly used for embedded systems. So we can expect the Google’s new operating system is mainly targeted for IoT (Internet of Things) devices.
