Few people search their names on Google to know the results of their name mentions on various websites. Now onwards no need to manually search your names for latest search results.
Google rolled out a new feature which lets you get email alerts whenever you had mentioned on any website with your name.
You might be familiar with the Google Alerts service earlier. You can create an alert for any search term. You can also configure the frequency of alert emails. For example, if you are interested in iPhone 7, just creating an alert through Google Alerts page is enough to get the latest info on iPhone 7 in the form of email alerts.
We can consider the latest feature from Google is similar to that. To benefit from this, you have to open www.google.com site and enter your name with your surname in the search results. Once the search results appeared on the screen, head down to the end of the page.
There you can find a notification from Google saying. “Stay in the loop”. Just click it. Immediately Goole Alerts page loads. There you can configure various parameters about that particular alert like language, region, sources, frequency, etc. Finally, you have to press “Create Alert”, that’s it. Google starts to send email alerts whenever your name appeared on latest search results.
