Google Translate celebrating the 10th Anniversary today. On 28th April 2006 Google started this service to bring the world closer by eliminating language restrictions.

Google began to provide contextual translate option, once it detected non-English script on any web page. So no need to open Google Translate website to get things done. On the other hand, Google Translate web version greets us with exceptional facilities like text pronunciations, automatic language detection, image text translation and others.

You can use Google Translate on Android and iOS devices. Google launched first mobile version in Jan 2010. However, at that time, it looks like the web version. Later mobile app improved with new features and interface.

Google provides Google Translate API for app developers who wants to embed Google Translate functionality in their apps. So without leaving third party apps, now we are enjoying the Google Translate benefits.

In coming future we can expect more useful options in it. “Computer Era” wishes Google Translate on its 10th Anniversary.
