After the major websites like Twitter and Facebook allowed their users to stream live videos, now it’s Instagram introducing that feature to its users. The popular photo sharing platform confirmed about its ideas to introduce live video.
There has been this news going on the introduction of this new feature in the photo sharing platform from a long while, but iit became official after the recent announcement made by the Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom while speaking to the Financial Times. He stated that Instagram is really excited to be introducing this new feature as it will enhance the social network.
These live video broadcasts are said to be placed alongside the recently introduced Intsagram stories. Both the Stories and live will show up on the top of the application both on the iOS and android apps.
There is no confirmation about when this feature is going to be introduced yet. Facebook live is one of the most popular feature since it has been introduced and that is why the company is making efforts to introduce this feature to its various other platforms. WhatsApp is also caught testing the status feature very recently which is pretty similar to the Instagram stories feature.
So all we can do is just wait for the next official announcement about the release of the feature.
