The popular torrentz site KickAss torrents (KAT) was taken down two days back. Apple and Facebook played a crucial role in this entire episode. United States Department of Justice seized the KAT.cr website and the website owner who’s online name is “tirm” arrested in Poland.
But another popular torrent website ISOHunt already came up with mirror for the KAT. As per the reports KickAss Torrents mirror already providing data since more than a year. The backed up links are still working but the forum facility where people exchange thoughts is missing in this clone.
ISO Hunt is active in supporting other torrent sites from a long time. Earlier when the Pirate Bay is suspended the same ISO Hunt created a mirror to the Pirate Bay site immediately. The newly created mirror site is almost identical to the original site.
The ISO Hunt site is also encouraging people who frequently look for pirated content to file a KickAss torrent support petition on Change.org website. The petition may not help the owner Artem Valulin (tirm) to survive from the cases filed against him, but it clearly indicates that there some strong voices supporting him.
