We all might be aware that Google has recently rolled out its new operating system Android 11. Google has rolled out a new feature which will now allow its users to automatically revoke permissions from unused apps. The feature is infact disabled by default, but users can easily enable it. Here is a detailed guide for that. Do follow this to automatically revoke app permissions.

Set Up To Automatically Revoke App Permissions

  • To begin with, you need to make sure that your phone is running on the latest Android 11
  • Now open the app drawer and click on the ‘Settings’
  • On the Settings page, tap on ‘Apps and Notifications’ option
  • Then under the apps section, pick the application that would like to revoke the permission for
  • Now scroll down, and you will be able to find an option ‘Auto Revoke Permissions’
  • Then use the toggle option and turn the auto revoke permissions feature on

That is it, you are done with setting up. The permissions for the application will be automatically revoked if you don’t use the app for a few months.
