Lenovo is coming with its latest smartphone model “Lenovo Z1” on May 10th i.e. in another two days. The same model released in the China market last year with the name ZUK Z1 to compete with the Xiaomi smartphones.
Lenovo Z1 sports with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080p) screen, and runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset. It has Cyanogen OS 12.1 operating system which is based on Android Lollipop 5.1.
You remembered that Cyanogen has an exclusive partnership with Micromax since 2014. Few days back this exclusive partnership ended. Now any phone manufacturer can use Cyanogen OS in India.
Lenovo took this as an advantage and equipped Cyanogen OS in “Lenovo Z1” phone. Unlike Lenovo’s regular design pattern, this model has a unique look and feel. The front side of the phone sports with Glass, which extends to the entire edges of the phone. The backside of the device is designed with plastic. We can’t remove the back panel.
Other specifications of the phone are 3 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage. It doesn’t support MicroSD card. Coming to the camera details, Lenovo Z1 has 13 MP back camera with optical image stabilization, and for selfies capturing 8 MP front camera is available. The massive battery is another great feature of this phone. It powers on 4,100 mAh battery. Dual-SIM support, 4G LTE support, WiFi, USB Type – C Port, Fingerprint scanner are other features of this Lenovo Z1 Phone.
In China this phone priced at 1,799 Yuan (China’s currency), It costs around Rs. 18,300 as per the currency conversion in India. We have to wait till 10th May to get price and availability details of this phone.
