Few months back I wrote an article about Deca-Core phone processors. Here is a new phone with Deca-Core processor. Finally Meizu introduced first Deca-core CPU equipped phone today. It has MediaTek Helio X25 chipset with a tri-cluster deca-core 2.5GHz CPU. On the graphics front it consists Mali-T880 GPU. This device has 5.2 Super AMOLED display with 1080×1920 screen resolution.
Meizu Pro 6 comes with 4 GB RAM and available in 32 and 64 GB internal storage models. We can expand storage up to 128 GB through MicroSD card. For security wise fingerprint scanner is provided in this phone. Inspired from iPhone 3D Touch, Meizu incorporated “3D Press” feature this device.
For high quality photo and video shooting this phone equipped with 21 MP Sony IMX 230 sesor based back camera with lazer auto-focus. It has 10-LED flash. For selfie shooting and video calling Meizu Pro 6 has 5 MP front-facing camera.
Main disadvantage of the phone is Battery capacity. Meizu Pro 6 comes with 2560 mAh battery which is far less for this specifications. If you observe the RAM capacity 4 GB RAM and Deca-Core CPU are indicating power hungry nature of this phone. In this context it’s uncertain how much juice we can get from this small battery capacity.
The Pro 6 has USB C port and for higher data transfer rates it also supports 6.4G LTE specification with Voice Over LTE (VoLTE) support.
Meizu 32 GB model costs $386 (Rs. 25680) and 64 GB model costs around $433 (Rs. 28,806). This model will be available soon in the market.
