Google Maps WiFi Only Mode is introduced with its latest version. The new feature will help you to limit the mobile data usage when you are traveling.

People frequently complain about massive consumption of mobile data while using Google Maps on the move. Keeping this in mind, the company introduced this new feature.

Starting from Google Maps version 9.32 you can find a new option called “Wi-Fi Only.” from the Apps Settings. Once you enabled this setting, if you are spending time outside, if there is no known WiFi then the Google Maps application itself disconnects from the Mobile Network. Indirectly it will save your mobile data.

Google announced another new feature called mass transit delays notifications. Now onwards Google will provide live traffic jam notifications when you are moving on a particular route. You no need to check Google Maps application every time to see whether the road is clear or not.

Both the new features in Google Maps will help us effectively. Since few months Maps becoming more powerful with new options. The company recently incorporated new imaginary which provides clearer  satellite view.
