The question about next big thing is a hungry question of any era. The fantasy of smart-bricks has become real in just a decade. The way smartphones has embedded into our lives is unseen like as if it is foreseen. An average person would have not see this change. The evolution of smartphones surprised the crowd and increased the competition. This has shown two types of effects on the tech world. Consumers have got access to the latest technologies under budget on one side and technology creators were stomped to losses on the other end.
Most reliable and people’s choice companies like Nokia was sold out due to this competition. So many new companies that have no brand value have gained speed in sales. Some companies are already started falling as quick as they have raised in the business. What’s going on? People started welcoming performance rather than brands. Has the necessity for smartphone era to switch on to next level came?
Only the next big question for now-a-day tech world is,

We have already seen it. Yes! Just like the few smartphones a decade ago, we have seen the next big thing on tech world, the augmented reality. Major companies like Google and Microsoft have already started working on this technologies with the names ‘Glass’ and ‘Holo’ lens. The both projects tend to bring the computer generated graphics to the real world. It makes us feel like a Cyborg.
When Google introduced ‘Glass’, people went crazy on it irrespective of the price it is available for. It almost costed the price of 128GB iPhone 6S in the market. Later, the tech experts have found some technical vulnerabilities in it and declared that ‘Glass’ is a too early technology.
Later, Microsoft revealed their magic sauce , Holo Lens. The launch of Holo lens with a live demonstration has moved the spine of Google techies. At present, Microsoft Hololens is being used to create a augmented reality of design and gaming. Fighting aliens and shooting down monster that are coming out of your doors and walls would be exciting.
The world is just not ready. When it gets, people will not hold the smartphones in their hands. Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai’s statements about dissapearing of physical computing devices is going to be true. Do not forget that it is a vision of the CEO of world’s leading tech company.
