Now you can restore Google Docs deleted files directly within the Google Docs application.
Google Docs is the web application available for those who regularly prepare office documents, spreadsheets, and other docs. People using the Google Docs service as a free alternative to MS-Office commercial software. Until now while working in a Google Docs application, if you accidentally deleted any file you need to exit the application and head over to Google Drive to restore the file.
Google uses the Trash option on the Google Drive as the central hub for deleted files on various Google services. Sometimes we delete files from Google Docs and other Google services and we might not find an option to restore those files from the same application interface.
To exit the current working application to restore the deleted files is always a problematic thing for the end users. Keeping this in mind, today Google introduced a new option in the Google Docs to get back all the deleted files without leaving the app.
The feature is now live on Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides for Android application. The option looks similar to the one available in the Google Drive application already. The option is available in the hamburger menu of the Google Docs application.
