Now Google Drive shows backed up Android data

Google Drive, popular cloud storage service from Google rolling out a new folder in the folder structure. Few Google Drive users around the world identified a new folder with the name  “Backup” in the listing of their folders. 

You already familiar with the fact that Android operating system offers us to backup applications and settings data on our Android smartphones. When we are going to set up new Android phone the earlier installed apps from our previous device, settings like home screen icons and other settings such as WiFi passwords will be restored from the backup. 

The new folder introduced in the Google Drive cloud storage is intended to preserve the Android backup data. If you have multiple Android smartphones with you you can find additional folders for each corresponding phone. 

Most of the people hesitant to turn on Android backup because of the lack of awareness and benefits it provides. It’s best practice to enable it on the new Android Smartphones and get back the old backuped data whenever possible.
