People are frequently asking about the Android 7.0 Nougat availability for their phone models. It completely depends on the phone manufacturer whether to release the latest version to a particular model or not.
But few phones never get Android 7.0 Nougat because of the processor they consist. Nougat is required higher system requirements on phones, and that’s why older phones never get the update. Not only the RAM and internal storage, but Nougat also doesn’t run on certain processors.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and 801 based phones are not eligible to get Nougat update. Those processors don’t support the latest operating system. Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy S5, LG G3, Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, ZTE Axon, Moto X second generation, Sony Xperia Z3, OnePlus X are using the above-mentioned processors. So if you are using any one of the above phones, you are unlucky.
All these phones are almost three years old, so expecting the latest OS update is not okay. A couple of days back, I already wrote the list of phones that are going to have Nougat update. Here you can check whether your device is there in the list or not. Phone manufacturing companies have to reveal the Android Nougat schedule for remaining models.
