Compared to one month back now a majority of the people got Reliance Jio SIM, few are waiting for activation. While using Reliance Jio on the phone sometimes we might come across certain problems. In the Reliance Jio Troubleshooting section, here I list few problems & their possible solutions.
Compatible phone – Reliance Jio Troubleshooting
First of all, you must have a compatible phone to use Reliance Jio SIM smoothly. If you are using a feature phone or if you are using a 2G or 3G phone you may not benefit from Reliance Jio. (I already explained a technique on how to use Reliance Jio on 3G phone here, sometimes it helps)
Those who are using dual SIM phones, 4G is primarily supported on SIM 1, but for any reason, you are not willing to place Reliance Jio SIM on SIM 1 Slot, you are out of luck.
SIM is not recognized – Reliance Jio Troubleshooting
Remove the SIM, place it again, restart the phone & check it once.
As I already mentioned above, if you are using dual SIM phone, use the Reliance Jio SIM on the 1st SIM slot, never use it on the second slot, most of the times it may not work.
If everything seems ok, but still your SIM is not recognized, then it may not be compatible with your phone.
SIM is ok, but no Signal
If the Reliance Jio is recognized but disappointed with no signal, if you are one of those who use dual SIM phones, check whether the SIM is turned on by heading over to the Settings>SIM Settings. Make sure to turn it on and also by configuring Settings> Mobile Networks >Preferred network type, set the network to LTE only.
SIM is working, but no able to make calls
I already discussed the problem while tele-verification of the Reliance Jio SIM. The same problem occurs while we are making regular calls. Calls fails immediately we dialed to another number. If you are struggling with the same issue, install Jio Join app from the Google Play Store and then make calls from that app. So above are the few Reliance Jio Troubleshooting techniques.
