In this video I am demonstrating unpacking of my new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 GT-P3100 which is 7″ tablet. Two days back I purchased it through ebay. Below are the specifications of the tablet.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is powered by a Sasmung S5PC210 Exynos 4210 CPU cycles at 1 GHz. This is a dual core 2X ARM Cortex A9 cpu that uses the ARMv7 instruction set. This CPU powers over a dozen other latest top of the line products from Samsung such as the Galaxy Note, Galacy Tab 7.0, Meizu MX, Galaxy SII.
This Galaxy Tab has 1 GB of LPDDR2 SDRAM and 32 GB of internal storage. In addition to this, you can extend the storage area by adding another 32 GB Micro SDHC card in to it’s card slot.
The Samsung Exynos 4210 employs the MALI-400 as it’s GPU to run those glorious graphics you will see on the screen. The MALI-400 supports the full Open GL 2.0 ES library, so playing high resolution 3D games on it will be a pleasure to the eyes. Apart from that, this GPU can play full HD 1080p videos with ease and supports a wide format of video and audio format.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 has a high density 7 inches screen with 1024×600 resolution with a 169.4 dot pitch, which gives you smooth graphics. The screen is capacitive multi touch and supports 24 bit or 16 Million colors to ensure that display is vibrant. The glass cover on the screen is not scratch proof so you have to cover it with a screen guard.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 supports a SIM card and can work on GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS900 (B8), UMTS1900 (B2), UMTS2100 (B1) networks. It supports all cellular high speed data transfer standards such as GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA+
The Galaxy tab supports 802. a/b/g/n networks. It also supports WiFi tethering without rooting.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab has A-GPS and supports QuickGPS and Geotagging standards. It also supports Bluetooth EDR and A2DP.
The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 has accelerometer, digital compass and light sensors.
It has two cameras, the primary camera at the back is of 3.15 Megapixels but no LED flash and can record videos at 1820×720 pixels and 30 frames per second. It records and stores videos in the MPEG4 format. Optical or digital zooming is not supported. The secondary front camera has a resolution of 640×480 or 0.31 MP.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 GT-P3100 runs on Android 4.0.3 also known as Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3
