Search for an exact phrase:
Searching for a phrase with double quotations on will bring you the results with only pages with the same words in the exact order as in the quotations. It is a very much useful search tip if you are searching for an exact phrase.
Use asterisk to find a phrase:
We try to remember the lyrics of a few songs sometimes but we couldn’t get the entire phrase, this trick can be a lot more helpful in such cases where the users can simple type the phrase in quotes and then replace the word that they are unable to recollect with an asterisk and this will bring the result that they want. You can also use this trick to find various phrases, proverbs etc.
Compare foods:
If you are unable to decide what to eat for dinner, and juggling between two items, then you can simply take Google’s help and go searching by placing vs in between those two items, and Google will present you with a comparison chart for both the foods that lets you understand the differences in the nutrition for those foods and then you can decide.
Use Define to know the meanings:
You can use the keyword DEFINE along with a word that you would like to know the dictionary meaning of. Google will present you with the meaning of the world along with the graph of its usage. So, no need to head over to the dictionary if you have a doubt, just Google it and know more about the word.
