Android is great and outperforming nowadays. But still, there is a severe disappointment we hear from the desktop computer users about the Android operating system. Till now they can’t run Windows apps such as Adobe Photoshop, Pagemaker, etc. on Android phones.
People thought running Windows softwares on Android phones is impossible. But soon it will become reality. CodeWeavers earlier developed various bridging tools in between Windows and Mac, and also Windows and Linux, which allow running Windows softwares on Mac and Linux operating systems.
The same company is now developing another product to bridge Windows and Android. The tool is named as “Crossover for Android.” Once it finished, you can run your favorite Windows softwares on your Android smartphones and Google Chromebooks. There is a big limitation to the entire concept. Only Android devices and Chromebooks which have Intel based chipsets can run Windows apps.
Till now Chromebooks didn’t support Android apps also. Earlier Google in it’s I/O developers meeting announced Android apps support for Chromebooks. Accompanied with the Android apps, by installing Crossover on a Chromebook extends its functionality like a desktop computer as well as a powerful smartphone.
