The latest privacy policy is now rolled out to certain parts of the world. Soon while using Whatsapp, you may encounter the updated privacy policy.
For privacy reasons, if you are willing to disable Whatsapp sharing your personal details to Facebook, there is a method to follow.
Once the updated “Terms of Service” is presented on your screen, scroll down to the end of the terms and Untick the option “Share my WhatsApp account information with Facebook “. That’s it.
Sometimes you might be overlooked and blindly tapped “Agree” button, then there is an alternate method to disable personal details sharing.
Open Whatsapp, Tap Settings, and Account. There you’ll find an option called “Share my account info.” Uncheck it. Now onwards Whatsapp never share your personal details with Facebook. But you must act fast; you have a 30 days grace period only to disable details sharing. Later you will not find the option & it becomes mandatory.
