How to get a touch bar like in Mac devices on your Android device

The best part of the Mac devices is the touch bar in them. Have you ever wanted to have that kind of a bar in your Android device? Yes, Right!!! • In the first step, you need to enable the installation of third party APK files, you can do this by going to Settings>Security>Check the Unknown Sources option
• Download the TouchBar APK file and install it
• After installing it, just grant it all permissions like Screen Overlay, Write System Settings, Do Not Disturb Access
• Then in the next step, scroll down and tap on Activate TouchBar to activate it
• You can now just tap on the space just above the navigation bar to display the bar and interact with it

This bar allows you to change your Android device’s brightness, WiFi, Bluetooth, Screen Rotation, Brightness, sound settings and all. So, try these simple steps and get a Mac like bar on your device.

How to change default apps in your Android device

Smartphone comprises of a lot of applications that we can easily find more than one ways for opening a particular file. But in our Android devices, some default apps are already set for opening the particular applications. What if you wish to change those things and wish to open a particular file with another application an would like to set that program as default. Of course, you can and it is a pretty simple process.

• Dowload and install Default App Manager Lite and you are almost done.
• Its opening page will load with a very simple menu and you can simply select the default apps that you wish to use on your device

You can simply change the preferences of the applications that are set as defaults in your smartphone with this awesome application.
On the top tab you can see the all defaults tab clicking on which you can see all the default apps associations. You can simply tap on the associations to set them or clear them. This Default App Manager Lite can thus helps you to view, edit, remove app defaults in your android device.

How to get OnePlus5 like reading mode on your Android device

One of the most talked things about the recently launched flagship from OnePlus 5 is its reading mode, it has attracted a lot of people that many wish to have that feature on their devices as well. Reading mode is basically the prominent feature from the Oxygen OS of the device, this mode optimizes the display for reading with blue light filtering and grayscale mapping.

You can also have it on your android device if you wish to and the process is also pretty simple, you just follow these simple steps

There are various ways for enabling this mode on your device and setting through the developer options is the first choice
• The first thing to be remembered is that your device should have developer options enabled, if you haven’t done that before, just head to Settings and then click on About Phone, then tap on the ‘build number’ 7 times, now you get the developer options under your device settings
• Now go to the developer options and look for ‘simulate colour space’ option, tap on it and select ‘Monochromacy’
• Now you get the grayscale scheme applied on your device’s screen like the one you find in OnePlus 5’s reading mode
• If you want to disable this just head to Developer options>Simulate colour space, here select Disabled option
You can also get this option in your Android device using some third party applications like Twilight, Night Owl.

How to get Android O like notification dots on any Android device

One of the most useful and interesting features of Android O is definitely the notification dots on the applications. The notification from an application will be denoted in the form of a dot on its icon. These dots can act as a reminder for you.  But the sad part is that the Android O is only available for Pixel devices as of now. So, if you don’t have one, you will be using the old Android versions and those doesn’t support this awesome feature. But don’t worry here is a simple process using which you can have the notification dots feature on your Android device.

  • Install Nova Launcher Prime which is one of the best third party launcher applications available in the Google Play store. It is the paid version of the application that has brought this feature in
  • Now you have to become the beta tester of this Nova launcher application as this notification dots feature is still in the testing stage

Doing that is simple, just go to the Nova Launcher Beta’s Playstore page   and login into your Google account and finally click the become a tester button.

  • Then you will get an update, just download and install it
  • Now, after you do this, make Nova launcher the default launcher in your Android device
  • Now go to Settings>Notification Badges> Dots, which will enable the feature on your device.
  • It even lets you customise the size and position of the dot which you can choose as per your choice.

Nova launcher, thus makes the Android users of older versions satisfied by introducing this feature on their app.

It displays the results from Google Images and TinEye.  Searching for something using an image is very much easy and it is just sharing the picture from anywhere on your device and then selecting the search by image option. Performing a search using an image is very much convenient and can be done from within the app. You can simply crop or resize the image and then upload it for searching.
