WhatsApp has been adding lots of features regularly and the recent update is the Status feature which is very much similar to the Instagram Stories. But this update has received a huge negative uproar, unlike the previous updates.

Many people haven’t been updating their app as they don’t like this update and they don’t want to miss the status feature which got disappeared in the latest updated app. But some may have already updated their app and are regretting that a lot. How to add a web page to your android’s home screen

Smartphones have replaced personal computers in the lives of many people these days. We have been depending on our smartphones for many of our tasks these days and they have been helping us a lot in multi-tasking as well with their increased features and technologies.

We get to visit a few websites very often on the internet. But to open a particular website or page, we are forced to go through the same process of opening the browser and then going to that particular website that we need to go. There is a simple shortcut to this whole process where we can go and visit that website right from the home screen of our android device.

  • Go to the web page that you get to visit very often, then click on the device browser’s settings.
  • Now you will be presented with some options in the drop-down menu, now select Save to Bookmarks.
  • Edit the label if you want and then tap on add to and then click on the home screen.

Thus these simple steps give you easy access to the web page that you visit very often.  Every time you wish to open the web page, you just have to click the icon on your home screen and no more hassles at all. Customize your android device in a way friendly to you.

Android devices have become the mainstream devices for media consumption these days and many people carry their music playlists on the android devices. How to manage and save your data on your android device

Aren’t you concerned about your data plan? Why should we leave our phone to allow data plan get waste when we have all the secure data settings to save the data. But we just need to get some knowledge in order to manage the settings in our android device which help us save our data.

So if you are concerned about saving or managing your data on your android phone and thus save your money, then you need to make the following settings changes on your device.

Track your data usage:

First of all, you need to keep track of your data regularly to have an idea of your data usage. You can track this easily by going into Settings > Data Usage.

You can set cellular data limit which will automatically turn off the data access. The cellular and your carrier’s data measure will slightly differ, so it is suggested that you keep the data limit to a little lower than your actual data plan, so that you may not go off your data.

You can also easily check the data usage of various apps on your mobile here and get a rough idea about the apps on their data usage. So that you can be cautious while use them on your cellular data.

Restrict your background data:

Many apps actually use a lot of data that we don’t even get to know. That happens when they run in the background. Why not stop the background running of apps which waste a lot of data. To do this you need to go to Settings > Data Usage and there you can find a three dot icon Restrict choose background data and click on it to save the wastage of your data by apps in the background.
