Another Cheap phone scam – 3G Phone for Rs. 888

Few days back we saw the controversy of Freedom 251. Myself I tried to educate vigorously on this issue, finally people understood the real loopholes behind that Media over exposed project.

There is another incident similar to Freedom 251 with the name of the cheap phone. Jaipur-based Docoss Multimedia Private Limited started bookings for Docosss X1 smartphone model which priced at Rs. 888.

It also seems like another scam even though Docoss promised to deliver the phone by 2nd May i.e. in a week time from now.

The customer care numbers it provided are not working. When I tried to explore the website, web hosting firm displaying “Resource Limit is Reached” message. By seeing this, we can estimate that this site runs only on shared hosting which has limited system resources.

Coming to the phone specifications 4GB internal storage at this point of time is completely useless. Android latest versions themselves occupy more than 6 GB. So stay away from the phone, don’t fall in such sort of cheap phone traps.

It is available through COD (Cash On Delivery) only, this may sound good for those we have hopped on this phone, but having a COD delivery system is not sufficient to trust phones.
