  • You can try running system restore in safe mode. You can enter safe mode by pressing F8 while your Windows PC is booting up, then open advanced recovery tools where you can find the system recovery option. This may solve your problem at times
  • If the above step doesn’t work, try configuring the disk space usage. It is very much required to check the disk space on your PC and do clear and make out some free space if it is 300 MB or below
  • And as the next step, if the above two steps don’t work for you, you should ensure whether the system restore points are being created. This step is not solving your current problem but can prevent you the next time. You can check the current points by just searching for rstrui in the search bar and then selecting the corresponding entry, pressing next will show you the list of restore points created
