Things To Try When You Are Unable To Connect To A Public WiFi Network

July 26, 2019 by Satyapriya

WiFi zones have become quite famous among the people these days and everyone literally looks out for free and public WiFi zones for connecting their devices. Everyone is very much used to the internet these days. But the most annoying part of these free internet zones is that many of us face connection issues and because of these connection problems. Many people feel irritated with these kinds of problems and leave the internet zone without connecting.

When you connect to public Wi-Fi,  the request for access is intercepted and redirected to the captive portal. Oftentimes this works just fine and you can go on about your business. But sometimes this redirect is blocked by the browser because it attempts to redirect the request to HTTPS before it tries to connect to the server—this is a security measure. In short, it sees this redirect as potentially harmful and blocks it without any interaction from the user.

Connecting To A Public WiFi Without Any Issues

So, if you are also among those people who face some kind of issue while trying to connect your mobile phone or computer/laptop to an internet zone. Then don’t be worried, here is the solution for you

Let us now first get to know the cause of this connection problem. All the websites that use the HTTP protocol and are not forced by the SSL technology obviously behave in the same way as the HTTPS does. They don’t recall the captive protocol and that is why you can find no verification or login page. This is what basically causes the connection problem.

Let us now see how to redirect to the captive protocol in such a situation. The users just need to fill in the neverssl.com by opening this website link in the web browser on your mobile phone or computer whichever device you are trying to connect. And it will launch the captive protocol in a way the connection could be established.

This is the easy fix for the issues caused while trying to establish a connection with such public WiFi networks.

Forget Octa-core, 1000 Core Processor is Coming

June 21, 2016 by computerera

How many cores in a processor would be there as far as you know? Two? Four? Six? or Eight? Whatever the processors that we are using today does not exceed much. The US scientists have invented a new 1000 core processor by bagging another record in the computer technological advancement.

The 1000 core processor is named as Kilo-core processor which represents the 1000 cores inside. This processor can amazingly execute 1.78 trillion instructions per second containing 621 million transistors.

 1000-core-processor

A processor would not be an ideal chipset if consumes more power. The kilo-processor takes less power and works smartly. Each core in the processor will turn off the charge when not in use automatically. This is the first processor with the highest clock-rate ever designed.

This 1000 core processor even dominates the IBMs 32nm CMOS technological chip that is being used. The multiple cores in the kilo-processor work independently unlike other multi-core processors. The number of processors embedded in a chip so far didn’t cross 300 cores. The 1000 core processor would be the first of its class with 4-digit cores.

The each core of the kilo-core processor works at the clock frequency of 1.78GHz, transferring data to each other directly rather than using the pooled memory. Pooled memory can squeeze the amount to be used by the core and lets them wait until some other core releases it. The direct transfer saves the waiting time for the processors.

If everything goes well, these processor will be available to us in this decade itself. But, don’t expect them for normal prices.
