YouTube, obviously the most popular video sharing application. It has a huge number of users from the Android community and here are some cool tricks to make the most use of the Android app.
Easy forward and backward:
Every video has some boring part, and skipping that video for a few seconds isn’t that difficult like you think. Double tap the right side of the screen to forward the video for ten seconds, and double tap on the left side of the screen to backward it for 10 seconds. You can even change the skipping time in the settings. Go to YouTube settings> General > Double tap to seek, now just select the number.
Watch videos in silent mode with subtitles:
Sometimes the surroundings won’t cooperate us to watch videos with the volume up, then for such times here is a cool trick. The YouTube application allows the users to watch videos on silent mode with subtitles. The auto-captions are available for the users in ten different languages. You can turn the captions on by clicking on the three dot icon on the top right of the video screen, then select captions and then finally select the language you want.
Auto-play videos:
Stay hands-free by setting the videos to auto-play and just sit back and relax watching the continuously playing videos. You can see suggestions for every video you watch on the application if you are interested in watching them, then just turn on the auto-play button which you can find below the video.
Pause your watch history:
Everyone needs to have some privacy at every point of their life and if you are also among those who wishes have a private search history and don’t want to save what you search on the app, then this setting is for you. Just go to Settings> History & Privacy, then turn on the Pause search history and pause watch history options.
Thus the Android app of the video sharing application has some fantastically useful features.
