Facebook Live now available on Android

Finally, “Facebook Live” came to the Android users. Last year Facebook started Facebook live for the celebrities who have verified profiles.

Later on 28th Jan 2016, Facebook began to provide the same feature to all the iOS users who are living U.S. now after three months wait Android users are going to experience it.

Android users are seeing a new Live Tab in the center of the Facebook application screen, where the Messenger icon is placed right now. Once you tap the Live tab, stream live videos mixed with your friends live videos, and popular live shows broadcasting from around the world will appear on the screen.

“We’ve seen that on average people watch a live video more than three times longer when it is live compared to when it is not live,” Facebook commented on Live Video.

You can get categorized live feeds based on your interest. It will take a few more days to avail the same Live Videos feature for the Android users in the other parts of the globe.

Now you can purchase Android Games and Apps with your Mobile Balance

Google is planning to bring carrier billing facility for Google Play for purchases in India.

You already know that there are thousands of paid applications and games available on Google Play. But because of poor penetration of credit cards in India, most of the Indian users are not able to purchase paid applications and games.

Internet banking and debit cards are the favorite payment modes in India. Google failed to adopt these methods because of various technical reasons.

Now with the carrier billing, Google is introducing, we can purchase any paid game or application from the Google Play Store, by using our mobile balance. It will be more comfortable to the Indian users, those who struggle to get the credit card with a lengthy process.

Google realized the fact that there are more phones than the credit cards in India. Initially, the carrier billing facility will be available to Idea subscribers only, later it will be expanded to other cell phone operators across the India.
