How to post photos to Instagram from your computer

Instagram, the very much popular photo sharing website is one among those mobile platforms that don’t seem to care about the desktop version of the application. The web service of the app has recently allowed users to sign up for the service from PCs, until then the users, the users without smartphones have no other way to sign up for the service.

But still, the official Windows app of Instagram down allow the user to post from PC.

But who doesn’t wish to post photos to their account directly from PC. Yes, it can be done. All you must be using is a Chrome browser. You need to add an extension to do this. Here are the simple steps to do that

  • Add Instagram From Computer extension to your Google Chrome browser that you can find in the Chrome Web store.
  • Click on the computer icon on the top right corner of the screen and then the three dots icon which opens a new web page.
  • Sign in using your username and password and enter the caption to the photo that you might be posting
  • Click on choose a file and upload the picture
  • Now click on the send button
  • Once the progress bar on the right completes hundred percent, your photo is posted in your account and it will show up in the Instagram

Thus using this simple extension for the Chrome browser you can easily post photos to your account.

Instagram is bracing itself to introduce live video soon

After the major websites like Twitter and Facebook allowed their users to stream live videos, now it’s Instagram introducing that feature to its users. The popular photo sharing platform confirmed about its ideas to introduce live video.

There has been this news going on the introduction of this new feature in the photo sharing platform from a long while, but iit became official after the recent announcement made by the Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom while speaking to the Financial Times. He stated that Instagram is really excited to be introducing this new feature as it will enhance the social network.

These live video broadcasts are said to be placed alongside the recently introduced Intsagram stories. Both the Stories and live will show up on the top of the application both on the iOS and android apps.

There is no confirmation about when this feature is going to be introduced yet. Facebook live is one of the most popular feature since it has been introduced and that is why the company is making efforts to introduce this feature to its various other platforms. WhatsApp is also caught testing the status feature very recently which is pretty similar to the Instagram stories feature.

So all we can do is just wait for the next official announcement about the release of the feature.

Instagram gets the zoom in feature for photos and videos

The most awaited feature of zooming in the photos is finally here for the Instagram users. It is most talked feature by the users of the Instagram and most wanted feature as well. Instagram on Wednesday announced about this latest release of the zoom in feature for photos and videos which lets the users to have a look at the photos of their friends with more details.

As of now the feature is made available for ios users only and android users will soon get this feature.

The Facebook owned company has recently been releasing many such updates to face its competitors Snapchat and Twitter.

It is a really simple pinch to zoom feature which lets you to zoom into a particular photo and video to get into the details. This pinch to zoom feature in the Instagram will work in the Feed, Profile and Explore sections as well.

Earlier this year it has released the Stories features which is similar to the Story in Snapchat and which got applause.

So, now Android users gear up for the upcoming feature from Instagram to experience it.

Add multiple hash tags in Instagram very easily

Instagram, the most popular photo sharing platform that is owned by the social media giant Facebook is the most used among the public.

Posting photos on Instagram is something that every photography lover wishes to do and that too the post will be done with a lot of hash tags. But typing the hash tags all by one after the after and searching for hash tags to be typed is something that will be annoying.

There are many apps that help one to decide on hash tags and suggest you which makes your life so easier. But you have got to switch from that particular app to Instagram regularly.

But here is the solution to that problem and concern as there is an application for Android users called Magnify for Instagram.

Finding tags and adding them to your post is just preety easy as you just have to type ‘magnify_travel’ or magnifytravel and press the space bar that’s it you are done, it will copy up to 30 travel related tags. Like that you can replace travel with any other word that you want.

But the Free version is so limited compared to that of the Pro version and you would definitely want to upgrade to pro, if you need more features. You can download this application from the Google Play store for free.
