Facebook launches 360 degree video streaming to all users

Facebook announced on Wednesday that its 360 degrees live video has been made available to its all users. However, the users still need a compatible camera with 380 live integration. While making this announcement Facebook even listed a range of compatible 360 cameras and they include Samsung Gear 360, Giroptic IO, Insta360, Nokia Ozo, Z CAM S1, Allie camera.

The company also stated that it has started supporting for spatial audio which gives a 360 degree sound feels like a real life sound.

As far the starting of a live video is concerned Facebook stated that the users can easily follow the steps with the 360 camera that is compatible with FB which the users have. This service from FB has been first unveiled in December last year and at the time it has been made available only to pages. And after a long wait, it is finally made available to all the FB users.

Users must remember to change the privacy settings of the post before going for the live stream. The users can write a description below the live and camera’s interface will show up the comments and interactions to the video.

Instagram is bracing itself to introduce live video soon

After the major websites like Twitter and Facebook allowed their users to stream live videos, now it’s Instagram introducing that feature to its users. The popular photo sharing platform confirmed about its ideas to introduce live video.

There has been this news going on the introduction of this new feature in the photo sharing platform from a long while, but iit became official after the recent announcement made by the Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom while speaking to the Financial Times. He stated that Instagram is really excited to be introducing this new feature as it will enhance the social network.

These live video broadcasts are said to be placed alongside the recently introduced Intsagram stories. Both the Stories and live will show up on the top of the application both on the iOS and android apps.

There is no confirmation about when this feature is going to be introduced yet. Facebook live is one of the most popular feature since it has been introduced and that is why the company is making efforts to introduce this feature to its various other platforms. WhatsApp is also caught testing the status feature very recently which is pretty similar to the Instagram stories feature.

So all we can do is just wait for the next official announcement about the release of the feature.
