How To Stop Google From Tracking Your Voice

Google, the search engine giant tracks everything that you do in t. If you think it may forget, then you are wrong. It keeps track of everything that you do with it. The information that it keeps track of may include your Google searches, watched YouTube videos and browses. But don’t worry it even allows you to control the information that you have in your account. Voice search using Ok Google is very much popular and it is very easy to use and one doesn’t have to type to search for something on the internet and it makes it convenient for the users to search like this.

But have you ever thought that Google will have a track of everything you search using your voice? Yes, it does have a record of everything that you browse using voice search.

Ok Google has been the most prominent features of the Android smartphones since the last few years and this feature has made people’s lives easier. But using a simple step, you can stop Google having a record of your voice searches. Here are steps you need to follow.

  • You need to go to the My Activity page and then sign in to your account.
  • Then you can find Activity Controls option on the left side. Click on it
  • There you can find the option Voice and Audio activity. Under that option click on Manage Activity, if you want to have a look at all the audio searches that you did using your Gmail account.

Or else you can just toggle the switch and it will open a dialogue box where you need to click on turn off. That is it. You are done with settings. This simple setup will thus allow you from stopping Google from tracking the voices you search using the Google voice search after the Ok Google command.

Unlock Your Phone With A Simple Ok Google Command

Unlocking your android device can be done in various ways. Like I have mentioned in my earlier articles, you can easily unlock your device without having to enter any PIN, password or pattern as they will be irritating at times. I have described to you the process of unlocking a phone using the face detection feature in my earlier article. If you haven’t checked it yet Click here. I used it for a long time. I want to try new every time and the unlocking process has a lot of options that we can try. So, today let us go through the simple process of unlocking an Android device with a simple Ok Google voice command.

Unlocking Your Device Using Ok Google

  • Go to settings in your android device
  • Then click on security
  • As this is one of the smart unlock features we are going to use, first your device must be locked using any of the other secured locking features like a pattern, pin, or password.
  • Then you will see an option smart lock, click on it
  • Now confirm the password that you have set
  • It will take you to a screen which says about the smart lock, just read it and click on understood
  • Then click on Trusted voice
  • Here turn on ‘From any screen’ and ‘Trusted voice’ options using the toggle button
  • It will take you to another screen, click on Get started
  • In the next page, just say Ok Google command three times after which it detects your voice and directs to the next page with some information, click Yes I’m in
  • Confirm your password for the last time
  • Finally, click on finish

Use this simple set up process and unlock your device using the Ok Google voice command within no time and without any kind of hassles.
