October 25, 2019 by Satyapriya

In a country like India where people are slowly getting used to online shopping, product reviews play a major role. The users will be very much dependent on the reviews of the products.  But fake reviews are what ruining the user experience. So, let us now see how to filter fake reviews on Amazon.

We all might be aware of the fact that Amazon products also have some reviews that are fake but to get rid of those fake Amazon reviews as the genuine customer reviews help us decide whether to buy or not buy the particular product, we need to do a process of filtering the fake reviews. So, here is the process of filtering.

Filtering Fake Reviews

  • Review Index can actually help you a lot in making your online shopping experience a less tedious and a better one
  • This web tool is a multi-role fighter that can be very much helpful for the shopper online. It is especially a great tool for getting rid of the fake product reviews on Amazon
  • All you need to do is just head to this web tool and then copy and paste the URL of the product that you are wishing to purchase
  • Then it will work magic and filter out all the fake product reviews away and thus showing you all the genuine customer reviews which can be helpful for you to decide on the product
  • It even presents you the performance card by summarizing all the reviews together based on features and all which helps you in knowing about the product much better

But unfortunately, as of now, this web tool is offering services for the Amazon US products only. Hope this will be made available for other countries soon as known. So let us have to wait for this amazing tool to arrive in our country.

Are you still waiting for world’s cheapest smartphone “Freedom 251”, if so the latest information from the Ringing Bells makes you happy. The company says it has 2 Lakhs Freedom 251 phones with them till now, and it will start delivering from 30th June 2016.

In February Ringing Bell announced that it would deliver 25 Lakhs Freedom 251 phones before June 30th. But the company failed to keep that promise, and anyhow it announced it has two lakhs units only right now.

Ringing Bells founder Mohit Goel says “We learned from our mistakes and decided to go silent till we come out with the product. Now we have a 4-inch, dual-SIM phone ready for delivery. I feel vindicated”.

Goel says, they are getting Rs. 140 to 150 loss per each unit, and he expressed confidence that they can make profits by producing larger volumes of the smart phones.

As per the latest information the company shared, the smartphone had a 4-inch screen with Dual SIM facility and equipped with 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM. It has 8 GB internal storage, which is no way sufficient for current Android app requirements.

Amazon Prime is coming to India next month

May 27, 2016 by computerera

amazon-prime-india

Amazon Prime is the popular subscription service in the US that offers guaranteed 2-day delivery without paying extra for every order on Amazon.

I came across a few pieces of evidence which indicate the same Amazon India is going to introduce the same Prime service in India on its third anniversary next month.

Now already Amazon India is providing one day, two days guaranteed deliveries for selected products. But for this, we have to pay additional charges Rs. 100 for one-day delivery and Rs. 50 for two-day delivery for every order that supports those fast deliveries.

Once the Amazon Prime service becomes real in India, we no need to pay additional charges for every single order. Instead, we have to subscribe to the Amazon Prime service on a monthly basis or yearly basis depending on our interest.

In the US Amazon Prime service costs $99 per year (Rs. 6645) and for a monthly subscription, it costs $ 10.99 (Rs. 737). But once the service became available in India, Amazon may make it more affordable by considering the Indian cost of living.

The source code of the Amazon India website is clearly indicating the arrival of Amazon Prime service. The source code itself is stating this.

“Introducing Amazon Prime: FREE Guaranteed Two-Day Delivery

With Amazon Prime, you get fast delivery on lakhs of eligible items. No minimum order size

Start your 30-day free trial.”

Not only source code, Amazon has already added the Amazon Prime Terms & Conditions page to the website. All these changes confirm the Amazon Prime’s arrival to the Indian market. In the beginning, the service will be available in the Metro cities only.

Amazon India updated Refund policy – you can’t return purchased electronic items

May 24, 2016 by computerera

amazon-return-policy

Amazon India updated Refund policy – you can’t return purchased electronic items. Yeah.. now the electronic items you purchased from Amazon are not eligible for refunds. It may disappoint those who frequently refund the purchased items. There are primarily two types of items available on Amazon. One is Amazon fulfilled and the second one is Seller-fulfilled.

Amazon upgraded the return policy for Amazon fulfilled electronic items such as Mobile phones, laptops, tablets, desktops, camera, monitors and camera lenses. As per the new return policy, you can’t return any electronic item from the above categories if you purchased directly from the Amazon. You are only eligible for replacement of the sold item if it is defective or physically damaged.

If you purchased from third party seller, it is the seller choice to offer refunds or only replacements.

In recent days, online shoppers across the country developed a habit of returning purchased items without any proper reason. It became unhealthy for the e-commerce business and hurt the entire e-commerce business model. Keeping this in mind and considering other aspects Amazon took the latest decision to deny returns.

The new policy already came into action. If you purchased any laptop, mobile, tablet, desktop, camera, lens or any electronic item from the Amazon after May 11, 2016, you can’t return the same on any grounds. You are only eligible for the replacement if the product is defective or damaged in the transportation.
