Are you using Opera browser to access websites? Then you must change passwords for your Facebook, Google, and other popular accounts immediately.

Opera Sync, the feature which syncs passwords, bookmarks, and history across various devices compromised and the password data of millions of users is at risk.

The company officially confirmed the incident and began sending Opera Sync password to reset emails to its users.

Although only Opera Sync server got compromised, changing the master password is not sufficient, it is a better idea to change passwords for your major social accounts.

As per the Opera statistics, it has 350 million users for various services it offers, but “Sync” service is used by a limited amount of users, they are at risk now.

Yesterday itself Dropbox sent a password reset mail to its long-standing users who didn’t changed passwords since 2012. Today the latest security breach happened.

Using advanced features from the web browsers, cloud services, and social accounts is not sufficient, you must be aware of all the security issues going on in the industry is most needed in these days. Otherwise, we may lose our digital identity.

So if you are using Opera Mini, or desktop Opera browser change your account passwords immediately without neglecting.
