You might be having the mobile data or the WiFi on most of the time and even if you are away from your device, someone sitting near your device might see the messages or notifications or any sensitive information you may be receiving. So, there is a need to hide such sensitive information from your lock screen. You can do it by going to Settings> Notifications. Then tap on the cog icon in the top right corner of the screen. Then tap on the lock screen and then select hide sensitive content from the lock screen.
Get Rid Of Personalized Ads:
If you are more concerned about your privacy, then you can opt out from Google learning about your likes, dislikes and thus further suggesting you products through ads and all. Just head to Settings> Google> Ads. Then enable ‘Opt Out Of Ads Personalization’ option and you are done.
Your device screen turns off after a certain period of inactivity, but it gets locked only a few second later. To avoid any mischievous activities during this time, you can set up the auto lock feature on your device. Head to Settings> Display> Sleep. Then select the lowest acceptable number of seconds after which your screen should turn off.
Now after that head to Settings> Security> Automatically Lock. Then select immediately and also enable the option power button instantly locks.
Enabling this feature actually allows you to try the apps without having to install them. These are disabled by default but you can enable them in a few seconds. So take time to enjoy this wonderful feature.
Go to Settings> Google> Instant Apps. Then tap on Yes I’m In option to confirm.
Then after enabling this feature you will find a try now option below the apps in the Google play store that allows you to try them without installing them.
