Reliance Jio Free Calls True or Fake? Does it cheated with 4GB?

September 11, 2016 by computerera

Reliance Jio Free Calls True or Fake – Everybody is asking the question and confused these days. There is a lot of negative propaganda circulating on the internet claiming that Reliance Jio deducts 4G LTE data while making phone calls. Hence phone calls are not free.

The propaganda is entirely baseless. Initially, I was also mistaken but within an hour I realized the truth. But these days people are virally circulating the false information without confirmation.

Reliance Jio Free Calls True or Fake?

Reliance Jio Free Calls True or Fake

Reliance Jio voice calls are truly Free. No hidden charges are there while making phone calls through the Reliance Jio SIM. The data used to make 4G voice calls is also not chargeable.

I provided you the official confirmation from the Reliance Jio site on this matter. Before circulating false information, it is better to read the Reliance Jio Terms and conditions from the official source.

Reliance Jio only charges data consumed on making video calls, and VoIP calls made by apps like Whatsapp, Skype, etc. The fifth point in the Reliance Jio Terms and conditions explicitly mentioned this.

Reliance Jio 4 GB daily limit is cheating?

Reliance Jio 4 GB daily limit is cheating

Now you can only download 4 GB per day from Reliance Jio in the welcome offer. People are feeling this as pain. Here we must remember one thing, just we are enjoying FREE benefits, we are not paying single paisa. 4 GB per day is more than enough for a typical user.

Here I’m using ActFiber 100 Mbps plan in which I get 200 GB monthly quota. If you observe the above screenshot, my average usage is 1 GB per day. All of my activities are through online, I’m Editor for a Computer Magazine named “Computer Era”, I produce tech videos and upload them to Youtube, I browse a lot of content online. But my usage is just 1 GB.

Then for an average user 4 GB per day is sufficient or not? Why feeling pain & circulating negative propaganda saying Reliance cheated us? Those who watch porn, download pirated movies only needs a lot of bandwidth. Demanding unlimited bandwidth for FREE of the cost is not at all logical.

Reliance never promised unlimited benefits for the Welcome Offer. And they provided unlimited benefits for the Preview offer before. Preview offer lost it’s existence once the service commercially launched, the welcome offer came. So before blaming Reliance, first we must behave like an educated person.

Reliance Jio – Why Media & others spreading negative opinions?

September 10, 2016 by computerera

Reliance Jio negative publicity

Since its launch, there are a lot of positive and negative opinions circulating on the internet & media about Reliance Jio.

While enjoying FREE benefits, on the other hand, people started to suspect, doubt, fear about the services they are already getting. It is normal human psychology. We hardly trust anything. Here I’ll explain the reasons behind negative publicity happening against Reliance Jio.

Lot of confusion

The main reason for trusting and re-circulating negative publicity is the confusion accumulated about the Reliance Jio SIM in the mobile user’s minds. Most of the people don’t have clarity on Reliance Jio SIMs. Moreover, few illiterates creating baseless logics and circulating rumors through Whatsapp, etc. I already discussed few of them earlier. Media also have least technical knowledge on Telecom.

Aggression on Reliance

Usually, people hate capitalistic firms, and Reliance is one among them. People think Reliance is exploiting the industry but contrary the same people exploit the corporates if they started offering free services. Here we have to remember that everything is a business. Till now Airtel, Idea, Vodafone maintained the monopoly in the telecom industry. Nobody has dared to question them.

Whatever the company first ordinary consumer has to remember that they are not here to do service & they are doing business, they have their own strategies, plans. So Reliance is not an exception for that. So blindly having hate feeling on a particular corporate is only our psychological disorder.

Innocence about telecom industry

Since 2004 I’m looking for Indian telecom operators who bring VoIP to their platform. After a decade also my expectations failed. It might not be VoIP, but now Reliance came up with Data-centric plans, and the voice calls are completely free. In some European countries, VoIP calls are free since ten years. Who is responsible for the backward nature of the Indian telecom industry? Customers don’t have knowledge; media also lacks the knowledge. They always create sensation & insecure feelings in the people.

Social media also polluted. Nobody shares eye-opening articles like this, people only share rumors, false news. So the negative psychology we have, the innocence we carry for decades created more confusions.

Bad propaganda from competitors

The rival companies created a lot of negative publicity against Reliance Jio. All of sudden, they are not in a situation to upgrade their networks, but at any cost, they must stop users from migrating to Reliance. So they started negative propaganda.

Why I’m supporting Reliance Jio is because of the momentum it created in the Indian telecom industry. If Reliance Jio does not entered into the market, we might be adjusted with the existing telecom companies for another two to three decades.

Finally, if you don’t trust Reliance keep away from the company, but while enjoying the free benefits or while expecting for the free benefits, blaming the same company with innocence is a big mistake.

How to increase Reliance Jio Speed with VPN?

September 10, 2016 by computerera

Reliance Jio Speed with VPN

Those who got Reliance Jio SIM sometimes might come across slow download speed, and earlier I explained a technique to boost Reliance Jio Speed by changing the LTE Band number on any Android phone. Now I’ll explain another procedure to boost Reliance Jio Speed by using a third-party VPN service.

How to boost Reliance Jio Speed with VPN?

The following technique helps to boost the speed up to a certain extent, don’t expect more than that. While using a VPN, the service tries to get better bandwidth from the ISP.

To start with the technique, you need to download any FREE or paid VPN app from the Google Play Store. You can download Snap VPN or Turbo VPN from the Play Store, and the both are free VPN apps.

Once you installed the VPN app, open it and connect to any virtual location available in the Free Mode. That’s it now you can browse or download content from the internet with more speed. But as I already mentioned above the technique helps to get a small boost in the download speed. Instead use this earlier technique of changing band selection in the phone settings helps to double the connection speed.

Reliance Jio Rumors & Facts to Know

September 9, 2016 by computerera

Reliance Jio Rumors

There is a number of Reliance Jio Rumors circulating across the Whatsapp, Facebook and other social sites about Reliance Jio SIM. They look convincing, but they are intentionally created to keep away customers from Reliance Jio. People are not using their common sense before forwarding them to their friends.

Here I explain the real facts behind those rumors. I will be surprised if my post goes viral instead of the rumor already circulating on Whatsapp & Facebook. People or least concerned about facts, they blindly believe stories. So I have little hope how many people share this articles on their Whatsapp groups & Facebook pages.

Reliance Jio Rumors & Facts – They “Tag” your number

The person who created the original rumor asked people, why Reliance is collecting “Original Aadhaar card Xerox and IMEI number?

Fact: What does he mean by “Original Aadhaar card Xerox?”. I think at least he doesn’t know the difference between the original and the duplicate. Reliance Jio is not collecting any original documents from us. They are asking only Xerox.

I have a straight question to the rumor creator and those who are blindly forwarding the messages to their friends, “Can you get a SIM Card from Airtel, Idea, or Vodafone without furnishing the Address Proof or Photo ID?

Why you people foolishly forwarding the bad propaganda without showing any common sense?

The rumor creator educating people that the Reliance Jio SIM will be “tagged” with the IMEI number. How funny it is? Does he know the meaning of the word “tagging”? If he had proper Telecom knowledge, he has to use the word “Binding”. The words he used itself clearly indicates the innocence of the rumor creator.

Personally, I’m using Reliance Jio SIM on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ phone since Feb 2016 even before the Preview Offer. I replaced the SIM with Airtel frequently without any issue. And I collect information from my followers & friends to educate people. Nobody faced any issue while changing SIM’s once Reliance Jio used on a particular phone. I request people try yourself before blindly forwarding such foolish rumors.

They charge Rentals

Another funny rumor. As per the rumor creator’s opinion, Reliance will charge Rentals from 1st Jan 2017. Does he know the difference between Postpaid & Prepaid? How can any telecom operator collect rentals from prepaid SIM? Here also I leave the decision to those educated people trusting the rumors without any common sense.

Reliance Jio Rumors & Facts – If you have a plan to approach court

As per the rumor creator’s opinion, if you are planning to approach the court, you will lose the case because Reliance already explained everything above in their Terms & Conditions.

Yeah.. he is brilliant, he has a lot of knowledge; he always read the Terms & conditions before creating rumors. If you also such a brilliant first read the T&C before circulating false rumors.

I don’t request you to educate others by sharing this article, and it is your choice what to share, whether the rumor or the fact. I hope wise people share facts not rumors, my hope may be wrong.

Reliance Jio COAI Interconnection ports War again

September 7, 2016 by computerera

Reliance Jio COAI Interconnection ports

Again the same scene, Reliance Jio COAI Interconnection ports war again started. People thought everything becomes smooth after the Reliance Jio commercial launch. But it seems that Reliance Jio customers have no good days in these days, except free data & free SIM.

Ten days back I wrote on interconnect ports issue in between Reliance Jio and the Cellular Operators Association of India which reached PMO (Prime Minister Office).

Reliance Jio COAI Interconnection ports explained

To make calls to other networks every telecom company must have sufficient interconnection ports. If it doesn’t have sufficient ports, the calls made by its subscribers to other networks will fail, and the negative image will accumulate on the network.

Every mobile operator must provide 12,500 E1 interconnection ports for 2.2 crore subscribers. But before Reliance Jio commercial launch, Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) membered with Airtel & other operators, offered only Radio 1400 ports instead of 12,500 E1 ports to Relinace Jio. Reliance Jio subscribers started blaming Reliance as the company is offering poor services. But it is not Reliance Jio fault, Airtel, Vodafone, Airtel fault.

At that point of time, they argued that Reliance Jio is just in preview offer stage, and COAI is providing more than required E1 interconnection ports. Two days back Reliance Jio commercially launched.

Reliance Jio Call Failure

Reliance Jio customers across the country are facing an enormous amount of call drops. As per the Reliance Mukesh Ambani 5 Crore call drops occurred because of the interconnection ports issue.

Today COAI wrote a letter to Prime Minister Office stating that they can’t provide all the required interconnections points for the Reliance Jio because they have not sufficient infrastructure to meet the Reliance Jio high volume of free calls.

So next what happens is time decides.
