Reliance Jio SIM Phone Heating problem – Solutions

September 3, 2016 by computerera

Reliance Jio SIM Phone Heating

Now a significant portion of the smartphone users testing Reliance Jio on their mobile devices. Free calls, Free unlimited mobile data everything seems right, but there is a common complaint everybody worried, i.e. phone heating and reduced battery backup.

Once you started using Reliance Jio SIM, you may observe that your smartphone starts producing heat whenever you make calls or browsing the internet. And compared to earlier, now you need to charge the battery frequently.

Few people may think that Reliance Jio is providing higher data transfer speeds, so it indirectly heats up the phone. But this is an entirely false assumption. Personally, I’ve tested the Reliance Jio SIM since Jan 2016, the time when there is no Jio Preview offer on my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ phone. The phone itself offers great battery backup, but when I placed the Reliance Jio SIM in the phone battery life drastically decreased, and the phone became like a hot brick.

Reasons for Reliance Jio SIM Phone Heating

The primary cause of the Reliance Jio Phone heating is the mobile signal. Still, the Reliance Jio is in preview phase, and it has to release the complete signal capacity for your nearby towers. Sometimes the SIM operates at higher frequencies; it is also indirectly heating up the phone.

And one more ignored reason for the battery drain and phone heating is the ten applications installed with My Jio app consuming a massive amount of battery juice to get notifications, updates from the Reliance servers. They are poorly programmed. If you are not using any one of them, it is the best idea to uninstall it immediately.

Reliance Jio – The secret behind the cheap rates

August 31, 2016 by computerera

Reliance Jio secret

It is not new that companies provide free offers at their launch to the customers. Mobile users who are trying to get the Reliance Jio SIM have a strong belief that, once the three months free offer finished Reliance Jio also charged like Airtel, Idea, etc., But all those assumptions are wrong.

There is a high action plan behind the Reliance Jio’s entry. No doubt the company is completely reforming the entire telecom sector. How can it survive by offering calls & data at lower prices? Read this:

Sophisticated infrastructure

Reliance Jio started its journey from the scratch. It has the state-of-the-art infrastructure that offers excellent performance at least for the next five years. Later it will expand the network as per the requirements. Already the company has invested Rs. One Lakh Crore (1,00,000) for the Reliance Jio to develop the stronger network.

Other telecom companies like Airtel, Idea, Vodafone are also spending amounts to upgrade their networks. But they are completely focused on the feature updates, not for the coverage updates. They have hesitated to introduce 4G and VoLTE services to all regions in India because of the high investment requirements.

Maintaining various “G” is not that easy

If you are Airtel subscriber, you frequently switch to the available 2G or 3G or 4G network depending on the location you are right now. Providing multiple networks on single towers is an expensive task for any cellphone operator. While in the case of Reliance Jio, it only gives us their 4G. There is no 2G, 3G. The decision to offer only 4G itself benefits both the company and the customer.
Believe me or not, for telecom companies 4G is cheaper than other networks. But to offer only 4G Airtel, Vodafone has to upgrade their entire network by spending huge amounts. So they settled by offering various networks for various localities.

Spectrum is Reliance’s weapon

Compared to Airtel Reliance Jio has a less Telecom Spectrum, but even though the company can utilize it effectively. The company has 850 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2300 MHz spectrum, which the company can ultimately use for 4G networks. On the other, Airtel & other companies have to split the available spectrum for various networks.

Modern style of networks

Till now there is no significant developments on how telecom operators run their networks. But Reliance came with a complete computer-based network that operates on routers and switches instead of old style telecom networks.

Largest Fiber Optic network

Fiber Optic network and towers offer higher capacities to the consumers. Until now in India, only 20% of the mobile towers are connected with Fiber optic, while in the USA the figure is 80%. Reliance Jio has 2.7 lakh Kilometers largest fiber network in India. Stronger financial support from the parent company Reliance Industries is the other great factor for Reliance Jio.

So the telecom scenario in India is going to change with the commercial launch of Reliance Jio, stay tuned for more updates.
