The most awaited phone from Sony which has been unveiled by the company at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) last year launched recently. It can be said as the best range budget smartphone from the mobile manufacturer.

In this generation of online marketing the company has decided to launch this product exclusively offline which is a little disappointing thing for the online consumers. This product is made available at all the Sony Centres and various major electronic stores all over the country.

The product is the Sony Xperia XA1 which is said to be the successor of the Sony Xperia XA launched last year. Let us now take a brief look at the specifications of the new smartphone.

The device comes with a 3GB RAM. It has an internal memory of 32 GB and can be expandable up to 256 GB. Enabling Google assistant on any android smartphone

Google assistant, one of the most popularly known assistants and the official one from Google is quite popular among the android users. We have earlier learned about the process of getting Google’s smart assistant installed on our smartphones.Read it Here, but recently Google has announced that it has been planning to launch its assistant to all the android smartphones that are running on Marshmallow or higher. So, if you are using a phone with an older android operating system, then go on to the above link and follow that process to get that assistant and if you have Marshmallow you will have to wait for the official update for your phone to arrive from Google. If you cannot then here is how you can get the Google assistant enabled on your device.

Here is the process:

This is the process of enabling the assistant through beta apps and it can be done by following the below steps.

  • First of all, you have to get the beta versions of the Google Play services and the Google app. This can be done by going to Settings>Google>tap on the three dot icon and then tap on the Help and feedback option from the drop down box.
  • Now in that page again, you have to tap on the three dot icon and then click on the option open in the Google Play store. It will then take you to the Google Play Services Play store page.
  • Here just scroll down to the bottom of the screen and you can find the I’m In button there, just hit on it.
  • Then click on join in the pop-up window.
  • Now you have to wait for a few minutes to get the update to that application.
  • When you see the update option there in the application’s page, just tap on it and wait for it to install the update.
  • After it is done, you have to search for the Google app in the Playstore and then sign up for its beta version as well like you did for the Google Play Services. If you have any doubt regarding the using of beta version check out our earlier article on that Here
  • After updating both the application with the beta versions, just go to Settings>Apps, then select Google here and then click on Storage>Manage Space>Clear All data.
  • Change the language of the device to English US in the language input settings.
  • Then come back and select Google Play Services and then tap on Manage Space and then hit Clear All data.
  • After doing all that, open the Google app and set the things up as you are asked to.

Then you will see the same Google page, where you have to tap on Settings and then Google Assistant settings, click on it which will pop up the assistant’s window.

This Moto M is launched in India at a price of Rs.15,999. It comes as an upgrade to Moto G4 Plus while it can be taken as an upgrade to the Moto Z play model.

It is first of its kind from the company that s featuring a full metal body. It come in too colours gold and silver which is the most glamorous smartphone from the manufacturer.

Now lets just take a look at the specifications of this smartphone. The phone is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor. It comes with a 4GB RAM and it comes with two variants one with an internal memory of 32GB and the other one with a 64GB internal memory. Both of them can be expandable upto 256GB. It comes with a 5.5 inch 2.5D curved display with 1080p resolution. The rear camera comes with a 16MP that has a dual LED flash and autofocus features. The front camera is 8MP. It runs on the latest Android marshmallow 6.0. It has a battery of 3050 mAh.

Coming to the other special and unique features of this smartphone, it will be having a finger print sensor on its back unlike its predecessors. It is water and dust proof.

Locking the phone with the PIN or pattern or hiding data in the iCloud storage is no more bullet-proof. Govt. of India is acquiring technology to unlock any smartphone in seconds for investigation purposes.

The Forensic Science Laboratory, located at Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat is buying the new technology from the Israeli firm Cellebrite. The company earlier helped to US’s FBI to unlock an anti-social element’s iPhone.

Most of the times police department find locked phones at suspected places, and they are using other lengthy methods to get data from the devices. But with the latest technology the Forensic department can unlock any phone in a short period and that indirectly minimizes the investigation time in crucial cases.

The technology can only bypass locking on devices which are using iOS 8 or earlier. But most of the people are using latest iPhone 6, 6S, and iPhone 7 which are working on the latest iOS 10 operating system. If the investigation agencies try to unlock the most recent iOS devices, after many failed attempts complete data will be deleted. So how far this technology helps the investigation is in question. But there are many other methods to get data from virtually any device.
