Shocking – Whatsapp deleted messages still remain there

July 30, 2016 by computerera

Whatsapp deleted messages

We have a firm belief that if any message we delete from Whatsapp will erase permanently. We are also feeling secure after Whatsapp started encrypting our conversations.

Security Researcher Jonathan Zdziarski found a shocking truth about Whatsapp. He experimented with the latest version of Whatsapp for iOS and found that all the deleted conversations still there in the Whatsapp database.

Whatever the action you select, still the data will be there. You may delete, clear messages, delete chat or archive but your data is still there to recover. Law enforcement authorities can benefit with this information while investigating critical cases.

How does it happen?

Once the message got deleted, the corresponding entry in the Whatsapp database must permanently be removed. But it doesn’t occur in SQLite databases which Whatsapp uses to store data.

If we delete any chat conversation, the chat record will be added to the free list. The data remains there in the record. There has a little chance of rewriting of the deleted records with new entries.

SQLite databases on iOS have a tendency to fill the “free records” only when there is a problem with the size of the database. If the database comes across any size issues, then only the free records start to fill up.

You no need to worry about the issue. But having knowledge on the issue is a must for every Whatsapp user. Because in recent times, people are feeling that we can exchange anything through Whatsapp and started behaving recklessly.

Whatsapp introduced two more new features

July 26, 2016 by computerera

Whatsapp

Whatsapp introduced two more new features with the latest update. A few days back I already mentioned one of the new feature “Bigger emojis” here.

The latest beta update brought redesigned Edit button. By using the new “Edit” button, yo can manage the entire chat conversation, archive, delete or you can mark multiple chat conversations as “read”.

Individual chat conversations now load faster than earlier versions. Support for bigger emojis also came with the latest version. Those emoji sent as separate messages will display big on screen.

If you are recording the video from Whatsapp camera button, zoom facility while recording also arrives in the latest Whatsapp version. You can zoom in or out just by sliding your finger on the record preview screen. Till now it doesn’t support in the Whatsapp video recording window.

In a few days, Whatsapp is also planning to introduce music sharing feature. You already know that few months back documents sharing was added. The much-waited feature Video calling for Whatsapp is also in the upcoming list of features. If everything goes smooth, we can experience Whatsapp official video calling facility within a two months of time.

There is a spam circulating in the name of “Whatsapp Gold” and “Whatsapp Video calling” on various groups. Those are totally fake. Don’t trust them.

You can Download Prisma Android app final version now

July 25, 2016 by computerera

Prisma Android app

Today, the final version of Prisma Android app released. A couple of days back I demonstrated this through my video tutorial. The Prisma released for iOS a few days back, but the same app released for Android as Beta recently.

But immediately after the beta release for Android, the servers of the application developers are flooded with more requests for image processing. They didn’t expect such a huge demand from the Android userbase.

So They stopped processing the images within hours by displaying “Thank you for testing beta, please wait for the final release”. Today the final version of the Prisma app appeared on the Google Play Store. You can use the app without any limitations from now onwards.

What can we do with Prisma Android app

Prisma is a fantastic app that provides real-time painting effects to your photos. The special effects it offers will impress your hearts. You have never seen such an innovative image editing app. it is not normal photo editing app, we can consider it as photo manipulation app. It converts your regular photos into beautiful paintings.

The conversion process performed by using neural networks and Artificial Intelligence. We rarely come across such type of techniques in photo editing apps. They are using cloud-based servers to process our images instantly. The app requires an active internet connection to process the images.

iPhone 7 release date may be on 12th September

July 23, 2016 by computerera

iphone-7-release-date

iPhone 7 release date is almost confirmed. Apple has a long history of releasing iPhones in the month of September every year. Apple is following this since iPhone 5 which released in in the year 2012. The recent release of Apple iPhone SE is an exemption from this tradition.

Keeping that in mind, we can predict that the latest iPhone is going to be released on any date in the month of September.  But today, Evan Blass (@evleaks) who was provided reliable information on various flagship models earlier, revealed that the latest iPhone would be released on 12th September.

He particularly didn’t use “iPhone 7” as the name when expressed his views on the upcoming iPhone model. The name may vary, or it may be called as iPhone 2016. He tweeted the following tweet about the release date.

iPhone 2016 release: week of September 12th.

— Evan Blass (@evleaks) July 23, 2016

Already we saw some leaked iPhone 7 images. Apple is mainly focusing on the next year model iPhone 8 and designed iPhone 7 almost similar to iPhone 6S with few hardware and software enhancements. It has a big rear camera compared to iPhone 6S, and antenna lines are redesigned.

iPhone 7 comes with no separate headphone jack. The charging port itself works as a headphone jack. In the iPhone 7 (2016) release event, Apple is going to release iOS 10 Final version also.  Last month Apple brought iOS 10 developer beta to the developers and this month it released iOS 10 Public Beta.

The video didn’t shared any further details about the hardware and software specifications about the iPhone 7. It just demonstrated the exterior design of the latest Apple iPhone.

Already people are feeling frustrated after hearing the rumors on the removal of iPhone 7 headphone jack. We can listen to more voices from people once the final iPhone 7 comes into the market.
