Whatsapp new feature – Message quote and reply

Whatsapp is introducing new features time to time to its messaging client. Today Whatsapp brought another new feature message quotes and replies to its Beta version.

While chatting with your friends, if you tap on any particular message, you can get “reply” option on the top of the screen which allows you “reply” to that particular message only.

Till now, if somebody is typing questions in a sequence, the answers we give to those questions are placed below the entire conversation. With the latest option in Whatsapp, we can answer any question by quoting it which will be clearer to the both parties participating in the conversation.

Message Quotes and Replies feature is now available on Whatsapp Beta 2.16.118 version. If you are not a part of Whatsapp Beta, you can sign up for the Beta releases on Google Play Store to get new features in advance.

Once the opposite person receives your reply, the reply will display with quoted text or video to which you are responding. In Group chats each participant gets unique color, so by using Quoted replies it will become easier to differentiate who answered to what message.

Now you can post Videos as Facebook Comments

A couple of years back we can post only text comments on Facebook posts. Last year Facebook introduced Photo comments on the posts. Today Facebook added Video comments also on Facebook posts. The feature protyped earlier this year in the Facebook’s 50th Hackathon, and finally, it arrived for the end users.

Sometimes photos and videos add more meaning to the discussion on the post. In such a situations Facebook Video comments add a whole opinion on what we are talking about.

The video comments option available on all the platforms like Android, iOS and Facebook web. When you tap the Camera icon placed at the right side of the comment box, option to attach a photo or a video will be available.

If you keenly observed Facebook focussed more on video content in the recent past to dominate Youtube in the video segment. The latest “Video commenting” option is the another addition to the Facebook video content strategies.

World’s slimmest Laptop HP Spectre Coming to India on 21st June

HP has a proud history of releasing innovative product line. Now HP coming with another impressive model “HP Spectre” which is considered as the world’s thinnest laptop till now.

The latest laptop from HP is as thin as an AAA battery and HP is going to launch the model in India on 21st June 2016. It already sent media invites for the launch event.

HP Spectre weighs 1.1 kg with 10.4 mm thickness. It equipped with Intel i5 and i7 6th Generation processors with two price models. On the display front, HP Spectre comes with 13.3 inch Gorilla Glass screen with edge to edge display and the screen resolution is 1920x1080p Full HD.

Coming to the storage, HP Spectre runs on 512 GB PCIe SSD with greater transfer rates and 8 GB RAM. In the US the laptop costs $1,249 (Rs. 83,397 in Indian currency). The official Indian price of the model is yet to announce.

HP introduced an innovative battery arrangement in the HP Spectre model where two separate pieces of battery equipped in a beautiful way which gives nine and half hours battery backup.

India rejected Google Street View proposals

People living in the US enjoy the Google Street View to get a proper idea of the areas they are roaming. Personally, myself expecting the same feature in India for a long period. Surprisingly the proposal of the Google Street Maps in India is rejected by the Home Ministry of India because of security concerns.

Today, the Indian Home Ministry clearly conveyed the decision to Google. Keeping in the mind 2008 Mumbai attacks, security agencies alerted the Indian Government and forced to disapprove Street View proposals in India.

As per the security agencies argument, the Street View imaginary helps the anti-social elements to plan and execute terroristic attacks across the country. Google showed keen interest to cover most of the Indian territory through it’s Street View. Already Google has captured detailed imaginary of various famous world tourist places in different formats such as 360-degree view, panoramic and street views.

Google also captured imaginary of few Indian tourist places like Taj Mahal, Varanasi River, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Nalanda University, Mysore Palace, Thanjavur temple, etc. on an experimental basis. But the latest Indian Govt. Decision disappointed Google’s plans to expand its trials across the India.

Google Street View is officially launched in the US way back in 2007, while accessing the Google Maps the areas where the Street view available marked with blue lines.

37.9 Crore Twitter Accounts Hacked

Another security breach came into the light. Last month Linkedin, Myspace suffered from leaked accounts, and now Twitter became the target.

Tessa88, a hacker from Russia revealed that he managed to collect a cache of 379 million Twitter accounts (37.9 Crore) mail ids, usernames, and passwords.

Leakedsource site which provides reliable information on “leaked accounts” for various online platforms confirmed the leak, but it only reports that the number of compromised accounts is only 33 million.

The Russian hacker is selling the Twitter user account database for ten bitcoins, and that is equal to Rs. 3,86,745. Twitter is checking their databases with the latest security breach.
