Truecaller evolved as a productivity app which reduces the unwanted calls. India is the major market for Truecaller. It has a great user base in India compared to the other countries in the world.

In the latest update Truecaller introduced an excellent option that helps you in most of the times. When you get a call, Truecaller shows the contact information and whether it is a spam or not details on the screen. Most of the times we don’t wish to attend certain calls due to our busy schedule. In such situations we may miss some important calls.

Keeping this in mind, Truecaller introduced an option with the name “Call Reason”. Those people who want to talk to you, they can mention the reason before calling to you. The specified reason will be displayed on your phone screen when you receive the call. You can decide to attend or reject the call by reading that message. So if it is urgent, or it is more meaningful to attend the call, you can answer it. Otherwise you can ignore it.

It will also helpful for the marketing calls. People blindly reject the spam calls marked by Truecaller. Sometimes they may useful for you. So marketing Agencies come specify the reason for the call with the new option, before making a call to you. The Final Decision to attend the call is yours, You have complete control on the call always.

The latest “Call Reason” feature is rolled out to Android uses across the globe. You can use it by selecting Truecaller as the default phone application.

How to remove your number from the Truecaller numbers list

Truecaller, every smartphone user these days may be aware of this wonderful and very much useful application. This application is widely used for checking the mobile numbers that we may not know. It’s a go-to solution for all the users to know a certain information regarding a number if they don’t have that in their contacts.

But if for some reason, you may want to stay away from using this application, then you must first deactivate your mobile number and then unlist it. It is a simple process which is explained in step by step below.

  • For deactivating your Truecaller account, you must head to Settings>About>Deactivate Account.
  • Then you need to remove your number from the list of the numbers in the application.
  • And for that, you need to go to the Truecaller Unlist  page
  • Check the verification captcha box
  • Now enter your phone number along with the country code and finally click on Unlist phone number.

That is it, you are now done with removing your number from the list of numbers in the application.

Call me back a new feature from Truecaller

Truecaller, the very popular calling application used by many people has now introduced a very useful feature called the Call back. Many people use this feature to block various spam and unwanted calls from unknown people and it helps a lot in that way.

With the recent update to the application the company chooses to offer the last mile assistance for the e commerce companies.

If a caller places an unsuccessful call, then he/ she will be presented with an option Call me back which they can choose so that the other person will get notified to call them back. There will also be a second option Call anyway which will place the call from again.

This feature works only if the user who has Truecaller calling to the person who has Truecaller installed in his/her phone.

Call me back is an upgrade to the availability feature present in the application. This update also shows the status of the user whether they are free to take the call before placing the call.

The company has rolled out this new feature to the android and iOS apps on Thursday.
