Here Are The Steps To Activate Hidden Mode On WhatsApp

July 1, 2020 by Satyapriya

Do you have the feeling of being stalked by someone else online? Do you wish to protect your privacy? There are a number of ways to protect your privacy in this chat application. You can either choose to stay offline, remove your WhatsApp ‘Last Seen’, or even avoid the blue ticks by not letting your contacts know that you have read their messages.  There is actually no such hidden mode available on WhatsApp official application at least as of now. But here are a few things that you can consider to opt and set up if you are very much protective and concerned about your privacy.

Make Sure Your Last Seen Has Been Set To Nobody

  • First of all, in the WhatsApp application, you can go into your WhatsApp’s Settings, and then click on Privacy.
  • Here, you can find the option Last seen which you can change to Nobody for a start.
  • Then you can choose to turn off the Read Receipts as well – although this will mean you can’t see the Read Receipts for other people.
  • The only true way to stop appearing “online” or “typing” is to activate Airplane Mode.

That means your phone won’t be connected to the internet, and so WhatsApp can’t tell the other person what you’re doing.

Of course, if you read a text, they’ll know as soon as you reconnect to the internet.

So, do try these simple things if you don’t want others to peep into life and get into the game of guessing what you are doing.
