10 Days with Mi Max – Review

July 24, 2016 by computerera

10 Days with Mi Max Review

Here is the Mi Max Review Personally, I love Samsung high-end smartphones. Started with Samsung Galaxy Note 1st Generation in 2011, till now I used Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Note 4 and right now I’m using Galaxy S6 Edge plus. There are few strong reasons for my interest in Samsung high-end devices.

Why I prefer Samsung?

  • They come with Super AMOLED display which offers greater color reproduction and pixel density.
  • The build quality and the design is stunning
  • Moreover as a Technology magazine Editor, I must maintain a good mobile time to time to create quality content. So I prefer Samsung high-end devices.

Two years back I bought “One Plus One” by breaking my rules. I didn’t spend even a single day with it. It is not at all up to my expectations. After a long time, once again I tempted to buy another smartphone, not from Samsung. This time, I waited for Xiaomi Mi Max and luckily ordered the phone on its first flash sale on 6th July. The phone delivered to me on 13th July 2016. So I’m using Mi Max since past ten days. Here are my observations on the phone:

Battery back is awesome

mi-max-battery-compressor

Mi Max equipped with 4850 mAh massive battery. Not only on papers it proved in my usage pattern also. You can clearly notice the backup time I got with Mi Max in the above photo. In my casual usage, it offered 2 Days 17 Hours backup, still another 34% battery left on the phone. I never used such a powerful battery equipped phone till now.

The only drawback with the 32 GB model is, it lacks Fast Charging support. My first few charge cycles took almost 5-6 hours to charge the phone completely. After that, now the battery is completely charging just within 3.30 hours.

Huge Screen is my favorite feature

Personally, I love big screen phones. I read a lot of tech and not tech content all the day. Even while walking also I prefer to read information on my smartphone.

I fell love with 6.44-inch huge screen Mi Max. Now I’m more comfortable in updating my knowledge through my phone. The display is comfortable to watch movies and videos also. Many people thought that 6.44-inch phone couldn’t fit in our jeans. Just it is an assumption. Whenever I go outside, I’m placing the phone into my jeans pocket. It conveniently fits there.

Butter smooth performance

I never expected such a great performance just in 15K phone. Xiaomi is pumping more power for less price. Every app, game I used on the Mi Max phone worked smoothly without any lag.
