Whatsapp Two-Step Verification is finally arrived to secure your Whatsapp account. Whatsapp introduced this feature in beta versions of Whatsapp Android and Windows phone clients.
If you are already using the Whatsapp beta on your smartphone, you can enable the new security feature by accessing Settings>Account and there you will find a new option called “Two-Step Verification.” You need to press “Enable” to activate this functionality.
Once you enabled this feature, nobody can’t reverify your mobile number without entering the six-digits passcode selected by you while activating the Whatsapp Two-Step verification.
Sometimes we may forget the passcode, no need to worry. You can assign your mail id to your Whatsapp account to reset your passcode. While entering the email ID Whatsapp is not checking the genuity of the mail ID you provided there. So be careful while entering the mail ID, don’t enter wrong mail ID, if you enter the wrong ID the passcode reset link will be sent to that ID.
The Whatsapp Two-Step verification feature definitely adds more security to the Whatsapp client. In the recent past Whatsapp is introducing plenty of new features to its platform.
