Whenever you are trying to call other networks through Reliance Jio, you may be uncertain about whether the calls connect or not.
You are not the single person suffering from the problem, across the country crores of Reliance Jio users are feeling frustrated with call failures.
Most of the people didn’t know the exact culprit of the issue and started blaming Reliance Jio’s network. Reliance Jio has the state of the art infrastructure equipped with them. In some areas, there might be a weak signal strength is causing little issues to the users, but the biggest problem is interconnection ports issue accumulated with other telecom companies like Airtel, Idea, and Vodafone.
Already all the existing telecom companies creating an issue to Reliance Jio since it’s preview offer. The interconnection ports issue reached to Prime Minister’s office a couple of days back.
After hearing the judgment from TRAI, Airtel and Idea announced that they offer more interconnections ports to Reliance Jio from now onwards. But whether the issue resolves or not depends on the transparency they maintain while following the telecom guidelines.
As per the statistics released by Reliance Jio, already 52 Crores calls failed with Airtel, Idea, and Vodafone, and on an average out of hundred phone calls Reliance Jio customers making to other networks, 75% of the calls are failing because of the interconnection issues.
So blaming Reliance Jio is not at all solution for the issue. Reliance has it’s own failures regarding new activations etc. (I’ll discuss them later), but for any company which came with Free calls, unlimited data it is common to take a massive amount of time to meet the huge demand.
