Using computer or smartphones for an extended period always hurt your eyes. The blue light emitting from the computer monitors and phone displays causes sleep disorder like Insomnia.
There are few software remedies available to minimize the blue light from computer screens. F.lux is one among them, right now while composing this article, I’m using it. This Windows software is my favorite program.
Nowadays people are spending more on smartphones and keeping this in the mind Apple introduced Night shift in iOS and few Android devices also coming with a similar option with the name “Reading mode” etc. Recently Twitter also started offering Night mode for its official client.
Now Microsoft took the turn. The company is planning to introduce Night Mode to the desktop Windows operating system in its next major upgrade coming in the next year. The option provides the similar functionality that is now we are getting with F.Lux.
F.lux is also available there on Google Play Store for the Android users, but to install it we need to root the device. Microsoft’s next major Windows update codenamed Redstone 2 is now in progress. Until then you can try F.Lux Windows-free desktop software here.
